Managed Security and Uptime
Trileaf Hosting includes monitoring, backups, and routine security checks on our published packages. This page explains what that means in plain language. No invented uptime percentages. No fake response-time SLAs.
What we publish today
From Packages, Features, and Peace of Mind:
- Automated nightly backups of your hosted site or managed VPS
- Routine security scanning / checks
- Continual performance and uptime monitoring
- On managed VPS: OS install and configuration, security and software updates as needed, detailed monitoring of systems performance and service availability, backups, and system security (What is Managed Hosting?)
Shared WordPress packages start at $360/year. Dedicated VPS packages start at $600/year and are described as fully managed with monitoring, security checks, backups, and more on the Features page.
Vigilance monitoring (honest)
Trileaf runs its own monitoring platform, Vigilance (`vigilance.trileafhosting.com`), built on Zabbix. That is the system we use to watch host and website availability for infrastructure we operate. It is an operations tool, not a public status page for every customer site, and it is not a marketed “99.x% SLA” product.
What you should expect as a customer:
- We watch performance and availability so we can catch and address problems
- Backups run on an automated nightly schedule on the packages that include them
- Security checks are routine, not a one-time scan at signup
What we will not claim on this page:
- A specific uptime percentage
- A guaranteed minutes-to-response number
- That Vigilance replaces your own application-level monitoring if you run custom software
